A signature is only worth anything if you can show, later, who made it and when. So the interesting part of this is not the pen — it is the record.
How it works
- Upload the document. Or use one already attached to a proposal or an agreement.
- Say who signs. Several people, in order or all at once, each with their own private link. Sequential is what you want when you countersign last.
- Place the fields. Drag a signature, initials, a date, a name or a text box onto the page. One colour per signer, so you can see at a glance who is being asked for what.
- Send. They sign in a browser. No account, no app, no printing.
What the finished file contains
When the last person signs, the signatures are burned into the original PDF once, and a certificate of completion is bound to the back listing:
- who signed, with the email address the link went to
- when each of them signed, to the second, with the timezone
- the network address they signed from
- their explicit agreement to sign electronically
- the SHA-256 fingerprint of the original document
One self-contained file. You can send it to a bank without also sending them a login to this app.
Declining is a first-class outcome
If the terms are wrong, the signer says so instead of signing, and the whole request closes with their reason attached. A document somebody has refused should stop collecting signatures from everybody else, and here it does.
